Stephen is a mentor with over 35 years’ experience in the banking industry. His expertise spans diverse fields including Financial Management, Micro and Macroeconomic Management, Research, Banking Operations and Administration. Stephen is a turnaround consultant and also specializes in establishing new businesses. He was instrumental in transforming Kantamanto Savings and Loans Ltd into UniCredit Ghana Ltd where he served as Managing Director from 2006 to 2014 before taking helm of affairs at Adom Savings and Loans Limited. He also served on the board of Anum Rural Bank from 1982 until he retired in 2014.
He previously served in various roles at the Bank of Ghana including, Assistant Director at the Banking and Supervision Department, Head of Rural Finance Inspection Department(RFID), Director at the Macroeconomic Management Department and a Director at the Financial Sector Department at the West African Institute for Financial and Economic Management (WAIFEM) from 2001 to 2003. Stephen was also instrumental in the establishment of the ARB Apex Bank. During his work at the Bank of Ghana, Stephen played key roles towards the reform of the banking sector.
Stephen received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Cape Coast in 1971 and obtained his Masters in Economics at the University of Ghana, Legon in 1975. He has attended various training courses, workshops and seminars in Ghana, Italy, USA, Switzerland and Germany.
He currently serves as the Managing Director and oversees the implementation of the company’s strategic direction.
Kingsley is a result-oriented Microfinance Practitioner, a Banker and an Educationist. He worked in different capacities such as Financial Services Officer, Senior Financial Services Officer, Financial Services Supervisor(Sinapi Aba Trust), Branch Manager and an Area Manager at (Sinapi Aba Savings & Loans Ltd), Managing Director (Credit Recovery Systems Ltd), Head of Sales, Personal and Business Banking (CCML).
He has participated in a number of trainings and seminars in Microfinance, Banking and Finance, Credit Recovery Systems and Financial Services both locally and internationally. Through these, he has acquired in-depth knowledge in the Banking, Management and Operations of Microfinance in designing Strategic Business Solutions to gain competitive advantage. He has a specific interest in Microfinance Operations, Banking operations, Debt Recovery Systems and Portfolio Management. He is a Trainer, Financial Services provider and is committed to improving and transforming individuals and organizations to thrive in excellence.
Kingsley holds a Bachelor degree (Hons) in Social Studies from the University of Cape Coast, Master’s degree in Educational Management and Administration from the University of Education, Winneba, Advanced Executive Certificate in Banking and Finance (AECP), Advanced Executive Mastery Certificate in Business Administration - Project Management (AEMCBA), Advanced Executive Mastery Certificate in Business Administration- Procurement and Contract Management (AEMCBA). He is a Senior Course Tutor at the University of Cape Coast- College of Distant Education (CODE). Kingsley currently holds Member of Boardroom Institute (MBI) status from Board Room Institute.
Kwame Kessie Mpare JR
Head, Risk & Compliance
Kwame is an experienced banker who holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Ghana Business School and a Bachelor of Arts degree also from the University of Ghana. He has also received various certificates from the Banking College as well as a certificate in Project Management.
Kwame is a dynamic and versatile individual with extensive knowledge and experience in fields not limited to portfolio management, credit analysis, credit risk, loan appraisal and relationship management.
He started his career with UT Financial Services where he served as a project analyst. He later joined UT Bank where he served various positions in retail banking including project management and relationship management. Kwame was part of a team that was solely responsible for recouping non-performing loans in his days at UT Bank. The team was able to plough back over one million Ghana Cedis after just six months of its establishment.
Prior to joining Adom savings & Loans, Kwame worked with FBN Bank (Ghana) as a Relationship Manager and a team lead in the retail banking unit, where he helped raised CASA in his branch up to GHS 10million within first six months of joining the bank.
Emmanuel Asante has 10 years’ working experience in microfinance operations and management. He has valuable expertise in the areas of Investment appraisal, Corporate & Microfinance Institutions, Treasury, Payroll Accounting and Assets and liability Management.
He was a member of the project steering committee for implementation of the Small Enterprise Education Program (SEEP) Responsible Finance through Local Leadership. He is a highly analytical individual with very strong- negotiation and communication skills. He has excellent knowledge in microfinance.
Emmanuel worked as the Finance and Administrative Officer for GHAMFIN from August 2012 to September 2014 where he assisted the Executive Director to work on projects for DANIDA, MoFEP, RAFiP and SEEP. He also worked as a Manager for City link Susu and Loans Ltd from 2007 to 2010. Asante was a founding member of Executive Students Association (ESA) of UEW-K and the first elected General Secretary for the association. Asante is a pastor and a student’s leader in Deeper life Bible Church.
He holds MBA degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Professional Studies, as well as a BSc (Hons) Administration – Accounting degree from UEW-K. He is a final part student of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana.
He holds certificates of completion in performance monitoring of Microfinance Institutions and Agribusiness Value Chain Finance and Microfinance Management from New Hampshire University, Carsey Institute USA and Boulder Institute of Microfinance ILO Italy respectively.
He has also participated and presented in a number workshops in Microfinance notably SEEP Network Conferences, MasterCard Foundation Symposium on Financial Inclusion, Client Protection workshops, Investor Conferences and Social Performance Taskforce Annual Meetings.
Divine Mpettey Osei
Head, Internal Audit
Divine’s experience spans more than six years in Banking, Internal Audit, Internal Control, Accounting and Financial Analysis. Prior to joining Adom Savings and Loans Limited, he was the Head of Inspection of the Internal Control and Audit Department of Zenith Bank Ghana Limited, where he planned and executed audit coverage of twenty-two branches and agencies as well as Head Office Departments on a yearly basis.
He has previously worked as an Inspector and a Resident Auditor/Controller for various branches and Head Office Departments at Zenith Bank Ghana Limited where he also worked on the Due Diligence desk.
Divine is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA - UK). He is currently pursuing an Msc in Professional Accountancy from the University of London and possesses a first class Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Cape Coast.
He joined Adom Savings and Loans Limited on October 3, 2016 as the Head of Internal Audit.
Philipina Goxoxo Miranda
Head, Marketing & Business Development
Philipina has Over 10 years’ experience in Marketing, Relationship Management and Customer Service. She holds an Executive MBA in Marketing from the University of Ghana and BSC Administration (Marketing Option) and HND Marketing from the Central University College and Accra Polytechnic respectively. She is also a member of the Chartered institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG).
Her previous work experience includes Relationship Manager at First Capital Plus Bank, now Capital Bank and Relationship Officer and Sales Team Leader at UniBank Ghana Limited.
Prior to joining Adom Savings and Loans, she worked as Head, Business Development at Man Capital Partners Limited.
Emmanuel has over thirteen years of experience in IT. His diverse experience in IT covers Intelligent Network (IN) Platform Development (telecommunication) System Designs, Systems implementation and management, Management Information Systems (MIS) and Reporting systems, and Applications Programming.
He has worked with Teledata as Software Development manager, Techmahindra as an Administrator IT Operation, a consultant to Nokia Siemens Network for Middle East and Africa, Consultant to MiDA, Consultant to OICI Ghana, MIS Advisor to Newmont Ghana Gold and Senior Software Lecturer NIIT Ghana.
Emmanuel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing from University of Bolton, UK. He is currently studying with University of Roehampton UK for His MSc Information Systems Management.
